Christmas 2008

Lucky us! It was "our" year for Christmas. We had all the boys and the daughters-in-law home. I was in heaven. We had a wonderful Christmas, and then went to Yosemite a few days later to get our "White Christmas" fix. It was beautiful...just like a winder wonderland. Here are a few pictures...

Washington, D.C.

In September of 2007, Jeanie had the opportunity to travel to Washington to walk the halls of congress and lobby for money for schools. Don tagged along and got to see all the exciting sites of the city while Jeanie worked.

This is the community where we live. You can see a peek of our house in the far back.

View of the Grand Tetons where Don grew up.

A few years ago, Don met a young man from Ukraine, Yaroslav Gorenko. He and his fiance, Katia, were married in our yard, and baptized the next day. This is Jeanie and Katia on one of their first trips to the temple.

Katia, Don and Jeanie a few days before Katia returned to Ukraine :(
